Eukene Garcia Ocina is a predoctoral researcher at the University of the Basque Country (UPV/EHU), focusing on thermophysical properties and thermal degradation of phase change materials (PCMs). She holds a Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering (2021) and a Master's in Energy Efficiency and Sustainability (2023), the latter funded by a UPV/EHU scholarship. Education Bachelor's in Mechanical Engineering (2021), University of the Basque Country Master's in Energy Efficiency and Sustainability (2023), University of the Basque Country Her research spans Thermal Energy Storage , Phase Change Materials (PCMs) , and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) , with a focus on industrial applications like casting mold cooling. She collaborates with HA Ilarduya (Hüttenes-Albertus Group) and contributes to multidisciplinary energy storage projects. Currently pursuing her doctoral thesis at UPV/EHU, Eukene is funded by a dedicated grant. Her work involves experimental analysis of materials' thermophysical properties and numerical simulation techniques.
