Prof. Dr.-Ing. Jürgen Oehm is a Professor and Head of the Circuit Technology Department at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology, Ruhr University Bochum. His academic journey includes a doctorate in 'Computer-aided, yield-oriented design of analog VLSI components' from the University of Dortmund, followed by habilitation in 2001 with a focus on 'Computer-aided design for integrated circuits.' Before joining Ruhr University in 2003, he worked as a Senior Staff Engineer at Infineon Technologies AG, specializing in RF ICs for DECT/Bluetooth/WLAN transceivers. His research focuses on integration-friendly circuit technologies, analog circuit design techniques, and statistical laws in monolithic integration. He leads the Analog Integrated Circuits (AIS) group, collaborating on projects like KI-ROJAL and PluTO+. His work bridges academic and industrial applications, with contributions to high-frequency sensors and integrated systems. Prof. Oehm teaches courses on analog integrated circuits and supervises academic programs in ETIT and Lasers & Photonics. His lab, part of the Faculty's infrastructure, emphasizes cutting-edge research in electronics and microsystem technologies.
