Dr. Gennady Pekhimenko is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science and cross-appointed to the Electrical and Computer Engineering department at the University of Toronto. He leads the EcoSystem research group and serves as CEO/Co-Founder of CentML, with affiliations at CIFAR and Vector Institute. PhD in Computer Science from Carnegie Mellon University (2016) His research spans computer architecture, systems optimization, and applied machine learning, with a focus on memory hierarchy efficiency, hardware acceleration, and compiler design.
