Zeynep ÖZKANLI is a Lecturer in the Department of Fundamental Islamic Sciences at the Faculty of Theology, Kastamonu University, Turkey. She has been serving as a full-time faculty member since 2023, and previously worked as a Research Assistant at the same institution since 2014. Her academic career is deeply rooted in Arabic language, literature, and rhetoric studies. Dr. ÖZKANLI earned her PhD in Arabic Language and Literature from Ankara University's Institute of Social Sciences in 2022. She completed her Master's Degree in Arabic Language Teaching at Gazi University's Institute of Educational Sciences in 2015, and her Bachelor's degree in Eastern Languages and Literatures from Ankara University's Faculty of Language, History and Geography in 2011. She also received Arabic language training at the International Language Center of Jordan University from September 2011 to May 2012. Her research focuses on Arabic linguistics, particularly phonetics, grammar, and rhetoric, with special attention to historical and contemporary applications. Dr. ÖZKANLI's work spans classical Arabic texts, modern standard Arabic, and the intersection of language with religious and literary traditions. Her expertise includes vowel systems, consonant assimilation, suprasegmental phonemes, and literary analysis of pre-Islamic and Abbasid poetry. Dr. ÖZKANLI has made significant contributions to academic discourse through numerous publications including journal articles, books, and book chapters. Her work demonstrates a strong commitment to advancing understanding of Arabic language structure and its applications in religious and literary contexts. She has also contributed to academic service as an editor for the Kastamonu University Faculty of Theology Journal since 2019 and as a reviewer for several international journals.
