Ralph Gonzales, MD, MSPH , is Associate Dean for Clinical Innovation and Chief Innovation Officer for UCSF Health at the University of California, San Francisco (UCSF) School of Medicine. He is a leading figure in implementation science, health care value, and antimicrobial stewardship, with a research program that spans clinical informatics, care coordination, and health system redesign. Education: MD (1991) and Residency (1995) from UCSF; MSPH in Preventive Medicine & Biometrics (1997) from University of Colorado Health Sciences Center; completed Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Champion Training (2019) at UCSF. His research focuses on translating evidence into practice through innovative interventions in antibiotic prescribing, eConsults, telehealth, and care pathway implementation.
