Geraldien von Frijtag Drabbe Kunzel is an Associate Professor at the Department of History and Art History , Utrecht University. Her work focuses on Political History and International and Political History , with expertise in Holocaust Studies , Modern European History , and Colonialism . PhD in History (University of Amsterdam, 1999) on German criminal courts in occupied Netherlands Her research examines political violence , Nazi-occupied Europe , and perpetratorship , including works on Dutch participation in Holocaust by bullets, Dutch-Jewish communities, and local dynamics in occupied territories. She coordinates the Utrecht Seminar of Political History and Perpetratorship in the Context of Mass Violence research group.
