Sanchita Kamath is a Doctoral Candidate in Information Sciences and UX Researcher at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. She holds a B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering from Manipal Academy of Higher Education – Dubai Campus. Her research focuses on accessibility for visually impaired individuals, Generative AI, and UX design for diverse populations. She has been recognized with the Illinois Distinguished Fellowship and Academic Excellence Award. Her academic journey includes contributions to accessibility in VR exergames, mental health UX, and multimodal data visualization systems. She advises under the mentorship of JooYoung Seo and collaborates on projects like MAIDR dashboard design and ClearMinds mental health platform.
