Prof. Daniel Ochieng Orwenjo is a Professor of Applied Linguistics and Director of the Centre for Language and Communication at the Technical University of Kenya. He holds a PhD in African Linguistics from Goethe University Frankfurt. His research focuses on multilingualism, urban youth language, forensic linguistics, and health communication. He previously served as a lecturer at Kenyatta University and chaired the Department of Language and Communication Studies at his current institution. He is affiliated with organizations like UNODC and chairs the Kenya DAAD Scholars Association.
