Marianne Lea is a Postdoctoral Fellow (50% position) and clinical pharmacist (50%) at the University of Oslo's Department of Pharmacy. She coordinates research activities at Oslo Hospital Pharmacy and holds a PhD in clinical pharmacy from UiO (2019). Her academic background includes a Master in Clinical Pharmacy (2012), MSc in Pharmacy (2006), and postgraduate training in medication reconciliation. She explores health service innovations to reduce hospital readmissions and improve medication safety in complex patient populations. Her studies address challenges in deprescribing, integrated medicines management, and healthcare system optimization. Publication Trends: Recent work emphasizes medication discrepancies post-discharge, human factors in care transitions, and prognostic modeling for multimorbid patients. She leads randomized controlled trials evaluating clinical pharmacist interventions and collaborates internationally on core outcome sets for medication management research. Advising & Grants: While no formal advisees are listed, she contributes to training clinical pharmacists through the Hospital Pharmacies Enterprise South-Eastern Norway.
