Simone Tagliapietra is a Part-time Professor at the Florence School of Transnational Governance within the European University Institute . He also serves as a Senior Fellow at the Brussels-based think tank Bruegel and an Adjunct Professor of EU Climate and Energy Policy at The Johns Hopkins University - School of Advanced International Studies (SAIS) Europe in Bologna. His research focuses on EU climate, energy, and industrial policy , alongside the political economy of global decarbonisation .
