Anasuya Pal is an Associate Research Scientist in the Department of Infectious Diseases at Yale School of Medicine. Her research focuses on parasitic infections such as Babesia and Plasmodium species, with a strong emphasis on developing diagnostic tools, antiparasitic therapies, and understanding parasite biology. She holds a PhD in Microbiology and Cell Biology from the Indian Institute of Science, along with advanced degrees from the University of Calcutta. Her lab contributes to both basic science and translational research in infectious diseases.
