Prof. Dr. Tran Nho Thin is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Literature , Vietnam National University, Hanoi. Holding a PhD in Vietnamese Medieval Literature (1989) and a Professor title since 2016, he specializes in Cultural Studies in Literature , Comparative Literary Analysis , and Vietnamese Literary Theory . His career spans over 30 years of teaching and research. Education: BA in Literature (1970-1974, Hanoi University of Science), PhD in Oriental Studies (1986-1989, Soviet Academy of Sciences) Languages: Vietnamese, Russian, English, Chinese Prof. Thin has chaired major research projects such as "Comparative Study of Vietnamese and Chinese Literature" (QG 05.37) and "Cultural Development and Building Vietnamese People" (QGTĐ 14.01), while participating in national literary theory projects. His work focuses on cultural anthropology in literature, Confucian ideals, and intercultural dialogue in Vietnamese literary criticism. His most cited publications include "Vietnamese Medieval Literature from a Cultural Perspective" (2003, 2008, 2009) and "The Journey of Truyện Kiều from the 19th to 21st Century" (2009). Recent articles analyze gender symbolism, cultural reception of classical texts, and modern applications of historical literary theories. Scientific Awards: VNU Outstanding Scientific Work Award 2008 Bronze Prize for Good Book (Vietnam Publishing Association, 2012) He has supervised international research collaborations, including projects with German academics on cultural policy and digital transformation in Vietnam, and contributed to academic exchanges between Vietnam and institutions in Germany, India, and China.
