Associate Professor
Francesca Simeoni is Associate Professor of Management at the University of Verona , Department of Business Administration, a position she has held since 2005 after serving as Assistant Professor. She earned her Ph.D. from the University of Naples “Parthenope” in 2003. Her research agenda centres on sustainable management practices , tourism destination governance , SME competitiveness , fair-trade business models , and service quality in public utilities . She leads or participates in nationally funded projects such as “Measuring the economic impact of cultural events: Tocatì – International Festival of Street Games” and “Graphic category in Confartigianato – Verona: profile and needs of services.” Since 2017 she is scientific coordinator of the Altromercato Campus public-engagement event and lecturer in the Kids University workshop “From the idea, passing through the project, to the enterprise.” She teaches extensively across bachelor’s and master’s programmes in tourism, business and languages, delivering courses including Principles of Management and Digital and Interactive Marketing . Francesca serves on multiple scientific committees for professional-development masters and specialisation courses within the university and is a member of the Department Board and the School of Economics and Management Council.
