Olga Tzortzatou-Nanopoulou is a lawyer at the Supreme Court and has served as an in-house lawyer at the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens (BRFAA) since 2007. Her roles include: Contractual negotiation for intellectual property and regulatory compliance (GDPR) Principal Investigator of the Technology Transfer Office Member of the Ethics and Deontology Committee at BRFAA She has been a visiting lecturer at the following universities since 2015: National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (Medical and Biology Schools) Democritus University of Thrace University of Nicosia Panteion University Her research interests encompass: Bioethics Biomedical Law Research Ethics Intellectual Property Law Data Protection Law Dr. Tzortzatou-Nanopoulou has contributed to European research as: Legal & Ethics Scientific Advisor for EU projects: B3Africa, SiENNA, ToAition, MiniNo, B1MG, EATRIS, STRATEGY-CKD, SYSCID Principal Investigator for projects: B1MG, SciBioEU External ethics expert for the European Research Council (ERC) and the European Commission DG Research & Innovation She is actively involved in: Scientific Boards and ELSI working groups in European Infrastructures Bioethics Committees in Greek Institutions and Academia
