Prof. İnci Çilesiz is a Professor at the Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, Istanbul Technical University (ITU), affiliated with the School of Electrical and Electronics Engineering. She holds a PhD from The University of Texas at Austin (1994) in Biomedical Engineering. Her expertise lies in Biomedical Optics, Biophotonics, and Biomedical Instrumentation. She has conducted postdoctoral research in the Netherlands, Israel, and the USA, focusing on projects such as Optical Coherence Tomography and laser-tissue interactions.
