Edward J. Fox is a Professor of Marketing and the Dean’s Distinguished Research Professor at Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business . He serves as the W.R. & Judy Howell Director of the JCPenney Center for Retail Excellence , focusing on retail management and shopping behavior. Dr. Fox holds a PhD in Marketing from the University of Pennsylvania's Wharton School, an MBA and MS from Northwestern University, and a BS from the United States Military Academy at West Point. At SMU, Dr. Fox teaches courses in data analytics , advanced pricing management , and retailing analytics , integrating secondary data, surveys, and experiments into managerial decision-making. His prior roles at Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management included research director of the Center for Retail Management and adjunct assistant professor.
