Sandra Zarychta is a researcher at the Department of Machine Dynamics - Division of Dynamics at Lodz University of Technology. She holds an M.Sc. in Automatic Control and Robotics and is currently pursuing her PhD in mechanical engineering while conducting significant research in her field. Education: Bachelor's degree in Automation and Robotics (2019), Lodz University of Technology Master's degree in Automation and Robotics (2020), Lodz University of Technology Research Interests: Sandra's research focuses on mechanical engineering with particular emphasis on robotics, control systems, and nonlinear dynamics. Her work explores capsule drive systems, Fourier analysis applications in control optimization, and neural network implementations for mechanical systems. She has made significant contributions to understanding discontinuous mechanical systems and their control mechanisms, with potential applications in medical devices and industrial automation. Publication Trends: Sandra's research output demonstrates a consistent focus on control optimization in discontinuous mechanical systems, particularly capsule drives. Her methodology combines Fourier series analysis, neural networks, and numerical methods to solve complex control problems. She has also contributed to interdisciplinary work in biomedical engineering, particularly in 3D hand scanning for protective equipment design, showing the breadth of her research applications. Scientific Awards: Second place in the 20th edition of the National Diploma and Award Competition of the President of the Association of Polish Engineers and Mechanics (SIMP) for the best mechanical thesis Best poster presentation award at Dynamics Days Europe 2023 Grants and Community Involvement: Sandra received a PRELUDIUM research grant (2020/37/N/ST8/03448) from the National Science Centre to support her doctoral research on numerical control optimization in discontinuous systems. She has participated in international projects in Spain, France, and Italy. Beyond academia, she has volunteered for years with the Krwinka Foundation for Children with Cancer and has published two literary works: 'Życie Aniołów' (2018) and 'Podróż do Włoch' (2019).
