Firouzeh Taghikhah is a Research Fellow at the Crawford School of Public Policy , Australian National University (ANU) , with additional affiliations as a Visiting Research Fellow at the Center on Persuasive Systems for Wise Adaptive Living (PERSWADE) in the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology (FEIT) at University of Technology Sydney (UTS) , and a Young Resilient Fellow for the Resilience Engineering (RE) community of the Four Technical Universities (4TU) in the Netherlands. PhD in Analytic and Systems Modeling (2021), University of Technology Sydney Master's in Industrial Engineering (2014), Ferdowsi University of Mashhad (Distinguished Student Award, Best Thesis Award) Bachelor's in Industrial Engineering (2011), Ferdowsi University of Mashhad Her research focuses on sustainable development , food resiliency , socio-environmental systems , and behavioral science . She specializes in complex system modeling , integrated modeling methods (including Agent-based modeling, System dynamics, Discrete event simulation, Optimization), and decision support tools for sustainability transitions. Current work includes the global agriculture project 'Integrated farm modelling to improve resilience and sustainable prosperity' , which develops automated ecosystem health assessment tools to support land stewards and promote regenerative farming , biodiversity , and carbon capture . Her publications address trends in sustainable agro-food systems , consumer behavior change , supply chain resilience , integrated modeling , and serious games for sustainability . These works span disciplines such as Operations Research , Systems Modeling , Environmental Policy , and Public Health .
