Zsofia Korosy is a Lecturer in the School of Global and Public Law at UNSW Sydney, specializing in oceans in international law, environmental protection, and international environmental regulation. She holds a BA (Hons)/LLB (Hons) from UNSW, an LLM from Yale University, and a PhD from UNSW. Her research focuses on conservation in international law and environment-related regulation, both nationally and globally.
She teaches Federal Constitutional Law and International Environmental Law at UNSW. She is a Fellow of the Gilbert + Tobin Centre of Public Law and co-leads the Greentech Stream at the UNSW Allens Hub for Technology, Law and Innovation. She serves on the management committee of the International Law Association (Australian Branch) and previously edited the AUSPUBLAW blog.
Her expertise spans ocean governance, environmental law, and the intersection of law with societal challenges. She actively contributes to policy discussions on sustainable practices and technological innovation in law.
