Zoe Callis

Zoe Callis is a researcher at the Centre for Social Impact within the UWA Business School and a PhD candidate in the School of Psychological Science at the University of Western Australia. She holds a BA(Hons) and MPA(Dist) from the University of Western Australia. Her research focuses on social welfare issues, poverty, financial literacy, and outcomes measurement, with contributions to UN Sustainable Development Goals related to social justice and economic equity.

Key research interests include socioeconomic disparities, mental health, and policy responses to crises like the pandemic. Her work has explored parental coping strategies during COVID-19, financial literacy's cognitive underpinnings, and service adaptations in aged care during pandemics. She has contributed to 24 research outputs and secured funding from organizations like Philanthropy Australia and the Government of the Australian Capital Territory.
