Ziping Wang

Dr. Ziping Wang is an Associate Professor in the Department of Information Science & Systems at Morgan State University, Graves School of Business. She holds a Ph.D. in Operations Management from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (2009), along with B.S. and M.S. degrees in Operations Research from Nanjing University.

Her research focuses on global supply chain management, blockchain technology, drone logistics, pricing strategies, and reverse logistics of hazardous waste. Notable contributions include studies on tax policy impacts on reshoring/offshoring decisions, sustainable supply chain financing, and drone-based rural delivery systems.

Dr. Wang has authored over 20 peer-reviewed articles in journals like Annals of Operations Research, Production and Operations Management, and IEEE Access. She has secured a National Science Foundation (NSF) grant (2022-2025) for equitable rural logistics systems using drones. Her work integrates technology innovation with operational efficiency, emphasizing sustainability and global economic dynamics.

Awarded the 2018 Faculty Research Award at Morgan State University, her expertise spans teaching supply chain management, operations management, and project management. She holds U.S. Patent 11,705,017 for a supply chain management board game.
