Dr. Zezeng Li is a Lecturer in Accounting at Queen Mary University of London's School of Business and Management since 2021. He holds a PhD in Accounting from the University of Exeter, an MSc in Accounting Accountability and Financial Management from King’s College London, and a Bachelor’s degree in International Accounting from China.
His research focuses on pension accounting, corporate governance of pension funds, and ESG integration in investments. Specific interests include pension de-risking strategies, firm risk dynamics, and board influence on financial decisions. He collaborates with the UK Pension Regulator on diversity initiatives for pension trustees and leads the Work, Organisation and Business Management pathway in the London Interdisciplinary Social Science Doctoral Training Partnership.
