Zeng Yu-Qi is an adjunct lecturer in the Department of Business Management at Tatung University. She holds a Ph.D. in Geography from National Taiwan University (2019). Her research focuses on spatial transformation, socio-spatial (in)equality, and the right to the city, with a particular interest in China's urban renewal driven by foreign investment and household registration (hukou) reforms. She also served as a Visiting Fellow at the European Research Center on Contemporary Taiwan (Nov-Dec 2019).
Her work explores urban political ecology and globalization's impact on cities, as seen in her studies of East Asia's zone-cities and sustainable development critiques. She has contributed to journals like Journal of Geographical Science and co-authored book chapters on Asian mega-projects' political economies.
