Zelli Arnaldo

Zelli Arnaldo is a Full Professor at the Department of Human Motor Sciences and Health at the University of Rome Foro Italico. He serves as President of the University Evaluation Unit (2021–2024) and leads the Laboratory of Psychology and Social Processes in Sport. His research focuses on social cognitive processes, decision-making in sport contexts, and doping prevention, with particular emphasis on media literacy interventions and behavioral change.

Key research areas include:

• Substance use prevention among elite and amateur athletes
• Motivational factors influencing doping intentions
• Psychometric validation of sport psychology tools

He has collaborated on international projects such as the IOC-funded SMART Project (2018) and EU-funded anti-doping initiatives. Recent work emphasizes digital learning strategies to combat performance-enhancing substance use in youth.
