Zed Mutema is a Lecturer in Human Resource Management at the Bangor Business School, Bangor University. His research focuses on international labor standards, collective bargaining, and trade union dynamics in Sub-Saharan Africa. He holds a PhD in Human Resource Management & Industrial Relations from Keele University (2010–2015), alongside specialized postgraduate qualifications in education management and higher education teaching.
Key research interests include the domestication of ILO conventions, tripartite consultation systems, and the impact of leadership on employment relationships during organizational change. He has supervised PhD students examining training impact in Nigerian banks and employee engagement in African universities.
