Zane Pfefferle, PhD, is an Assistant Professor of Exercise Science at the School of Health Sciences, American International College. He holds a PhD in Exercise Physiology (Springfield College, 2015), MS in Strength & Conditioning (Springfield College, 2013), and BS in Physical Education: Exercise Science (Doane University, 2010). His research focuses on neuromuscular/endocrine responses to strength training, stress physiology, and practical applications in strength & conditioning.
Research interests include optimizing strength training for clinical populations, hormonal influences on athletic performance, and biomechanical analysis of resistance training. He is certified as a Strength & Conditioning Specialist (CSCS) through the National Strength & Conditioning Association.
