Zakaria Labsy

Zakaria Labsy is a Lecturer at the Faculty of Sports Sciences of the University of Paris-Saclay, where he conducts research focused on the development of physical qualities in relation to sports practice and the optimization of athletic performance.

His research centers on two main axes:

• The study, evaluation, and analysis of metabolic adaptations to physical exercise, with particular focus on hormonal and metabolic specificities during exercise as indicators of performance or stress in athletes, especially footballers
• The interactions between medicinal substances and physical exercise, including the ergogenic, hormonal, and metabolic effects of glucocorticoids during exercise
