Zahra Ebrahimi is a researcher in the field of approximate computing, reconfigurable accelerator design, and embedded systems. She joined the Chair of Embedded Systems at Ruhr University Bochum in April 2024, following her PhD research associate role at the Center for Advancing Electronics Dresden (Cfaed) from 2018 to 2024. Her work focuses on energy-efficient hardware/software co-design for edge-to-cloud computing, with applications in neural networks and bio-signal processing. She leads the BMBF-funded project X-DNet, collaborating with Huawei Research Center Munich.
