Zachary Carter

Zachary Carter is a Research Fellow in the School of Biological Sciences within the Faculty of Sciences, Engineering and Technology at The University of Adelaide. He currently contributes to the Securing Antarctica's Environmental Future (SAEF) programme, focusing on Antarctic conservation initiatives.

His research integrates quantitative ecology with practical conservation decision-making, emphasizing biodiversity protection against threatening processes. Central themes include biogeography, invasive species dynamics in island ecosystems, and global change impacts, with specific attention to preventing biological invasions in Antarctica.
