Zach Thompson

Zach Thompson is an Assistant Professor of Practice in the Department of Marketing at the Haslam College of Business, University of Tennessee. Previously, he held roles as Senior Lecturer/Associate Professor at the University of Bristol and Senior Lecturer/Head of Department at the University of Greenwich. He holds a Ph.D. in Marketing from Durham University, an Executive MBA (Distinction) from Plymouth University, and a BSc in Business Management and IT (First Class Honours).

His research focuses on the intersection of branding, behavioral change, and identity, with notable contributions to social marketing and digital pedagogy. Thompson has secured funding for pedagogy research and led initiatives such as the Enterprise Hub at Greenwich, fostering industry partnerships and live project collaborations.
