Yvonne-Marie ROGEZ serves as a Lecturer in Legal English at the University of Paris-Panthéon-Assas, where she also holds the position of Deputy Vice-President in charge of the European University and Exchange Programs. She is affiliated with the Languages Center and the Law & Humanities research center at the university.
Her research interests span a diverse range of topics at the intersection of American law, literature, and social issues. ROGEZ has developed significant expertise in constitutional law (particularly regarding abortion rights following the Dobbs decision), facial recognition technology regulation, homelessness and property rights in California, and the literary works of Cormac McCarthy. She also explores post-apocalyptic representations in media and consumerism in American culture.
ROGEZ's scholarly output shows clear thematic progression, with recent work focusing increasingly on contemporary legal challenges in the United States, particularly surveillance technologies and reproductive rights.
