Yves Zenou

Yves Zenou is a Professor of Economics and the Richard Snape Chair in Business and Economics at Monash University (Melbourne, Australia). He is affiliated with the Research Institute of Industrial Economics (IFN, Stockholm), the Center for Economic Policy Research (CEPR, London), the Institute for the Study of Labor (IZA, Bonn), and the Rockwool Foundation Berlin Institute for the Economy and the Future of Work (RFBerlin). He also holds visiting professorships at the University of Southampton and Stockholm University.

His research spans network economics, urban and spatial economics, labor, development, and political economy, with additional interests in education, crime, industrial organization, gender, culture, and discrimination. Recent work focuses on spatial network approaches to police effectiveness and political dynamics in collective action.

He serves as an Advisory Editor at Games and Economic Behavior, and Associate Editor at The Economic Journal, Regional Science and Urban Economics, The Scandinavian Journal of Economics, IZA Journal of Migration, and Annals of Economics and Statistics. He previously held editorial roles at the Journal of the European Economic Association and Journal of Urban Economics.
