Yuval Evri is Assistant Professor of Near Eastern and Judaic Studies holding the Marash and Ocuin Chair in Ottoman, Mizrahi, and Sephardic Jewish Studies at Brandeis University. He earned his PhD from Tel Aviv University and holds MA/BA degrees from Hebrew University of Jerusalem.
His research examines Mizrahi/Sephardi cultural history, Arab-Jewish intellectual exchanges, and identity formation in Palestine/Israel through frameworks of postcolonial theory, linguistic anthropology, and transnational studies.
