Yutao Li

Yutao Li is an Associate Professor at the Dhillon School of Business, University of Lethbridge, Calgary campus. He joined the university in 2011 and has been promoted to Associate Professor since 2016. His academic qualifications include a Ph.D. in Accounting from the University of Waterloo (2005-2011) and a BBA in Accounting from the University of Toronto (2001-2004).

Research Interests: Dr. Li focuses on corporate financial and non-financial disclosure, debt contracting, security market regulations, and financial intermediaries. His work examines how transparency, regulatory frameworks, and managerial decisions influence financial markets and lending practices.

Publication Trends: His research spans topics like debt contract dynamics, audit quality, social media's role in corporate transparency, and offshore financial operations. The articles highlight interdisciplinary applications of accounting principles to legal, regulatory, and financial market challenges.
