Yusuf Menceloglu

Professor Yusuf Menceloglu is affiliated with Sabanci University as a faculty member in the Department of Materials Science and Engineering. His research group actively recruits MSc and PhD students, as noted in announcements from 2008, 2012, and 2019.

• MSc and PhD in Polymer Chemistry, Istanbul Technical University

His research spans advanced materials development, including proton exchange membrane fuel cells, biodegradable nanocomposites, and supercritical CO₂ processing. He also explores smart materials via electrospinning, UV curable coatings, and fluorinated polymers.

The Menceloglu Research Group focuses on sustainable materials with applications in energy, environmental protection, and functional surfaces. Their work includes flame retardant polymers and surfactant synthesis.
