Yuseung Kim

Yuseung Kim is a Professor at the Muskie School of Public Service at the University of Southern Maine (USM). He is affiliated with the Sustainability Solutions Initiative, a federal partnership between USM and the University of Maine focused on linking science with policy solutions for human needs and ecological preservation.

His research spans agent-based modeling, GIS, sustainable development, and urban design. Prior to USM, he served as a lecturer at the University of Colorado Denver and worked at South Korea's Seoul Development Institute on economic planning and urban growth modeling.

He teaches courses such as Elements of Plan Making, GIS for Municipal Applications, and Principles of Town Design, emphasizing integrative approaches to policy and ecological systems.
