Dr. Yupeng Chen is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering at the University of Connecticut. Holding a Ph.D. in Nanomaterials and M.S. in Biomedical Engineering from Brown University, his research focuses on DNA-inspired Janus base nanomaterials for tissue regeneration and drug/gene delivery. He holds 24 patents and has authored over 70 publications.
