Yunfei Xi

Associate Professor Yunfei Xi is a world-leading scientist in Mineral Materials at the School of Chemistry & Physics, Queensland University of Technology (QUT). He holds an ARC Mid-career Industry Fellowship and is ranked globally in the top 3 for 'Clay Minerals' and 'Mineral Materials'. With over two decades of expertise in mineral structures and applications, his research focuses on clay minerals, environmental remediation, and building materials. He has authored over 260 peer-reviewed articles, with significant citations, and has led interdisciplinary teams in industry partnerships, creating $10M+ annual value for manufacturers.
