Yugin Teo

Dr. Yugin Teo is a Principal Academic in Communications and English at Bournemouth University, specializing in contemporary literature, memory studies, and science fiction. He holds a DPhil from the University of Sussex and is a Fellow of the Higher Education Academy. His research focuses on Kazuo Ishiguro, robot carers in sci-fi, dementia care, and the intersections of memory and technology. He has published widely in journals like Textual Practice and Medical Humanities, and authored the monograph Kazuo Ishiguro and Memory.
