About
Dr. Yueh-Ju Lin is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Mathematics, Statistics, and Physics at Wichita State University (WSU), affiliated with the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts and Sciences. Her research focuses on Geometric Analysis, Differential Geometry, and Partial Differential Equations, particularly nonlinear elliptic PDEs in conformal geometry and higher-order curvature functionals.
She earned her PhD in Mathematics from the University of Notre Dame (2014) under Prof. Matthew Gursky, followed by postdoctoral positions at the University of Michigan and Princeton University as an Instructor. Her academic activities include organizing the 2025 Kansas Math Symposium and leading WSU's Geometry, Topology, and Analysis seminar.
Key research interests include Q-curvature deformations, conformally variational invariants, and fourth-order elliptic PDEs. Recent work emphasizes geometric analysis techniques applied to curvature integrals, operator constructions, and volume comparisons. She actively contributes to academic events like the WSU Sonia Kovalevsky Day.
