Dr. Yu Zhao is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Cincinnati. His research spans software engineering, software testing, natural language processing, deep learning, reinforcement learning, and computer networks. He holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Kentucky and previously served on faculty at the University of Central Missouri.
Research focuses on:
- Automated bug detection and reproduction for Android apps
- Machine learning approaches to software testing
- Runtime security analysis frameworks
- LLM applications in software engineering
Current projects include NSF-funded work on bug oracle systems and automated environment configuration for Android bug reproduction.
