Yu Yue is a Professor at the Zicklin School of Business, Baruch College, The City University of New York, in the Paul H. Chook Department of Information Systems and Statistics. He holds a PhD and MA in Statistics from the University of Missouri, Columbia, and a BS in Statistics from Shanghai University of Finance and Economics. His research focuses on Bayesian statistics, nonparametric regression, spatial statistics, quantile regression, and functional data analysis.
His recent publications include innovations in
- Bayesian trend filtering for neuroimaging data
- spatio-temporal modeling of muscle activity
- adaptive smoothing techniques for fMRI analysis
