Yu Xia

Dr. Yu Xia is an Assistant Professor of Instructional Design & Technology and Program Director of the School of Library & Information Management at Emporia State University. She holds a PhD in Learning, Design, and Technology from Pennsylvania State University and an MEd in Instructional Technology from the University of Virginia.

Her research focuses on collaborative learning, design thinking, socioemotional practices in learning ecosystems, and technology-enhanced student engagement. Dr. Xia has published in Journal of the Learning Sciences and presented at international conferences such as ISLS and AERA. Her work emphasizes innovation in educational technology applications and pedagogical strategies for diverse learning environments.
