Yu-Lin Hsu is a Senior Lecturer in Accounting at the Adam Smith Business School, University of Glasgow, having joined in January 2024. Previously, she held positions at the University of Strathclyde (lecturer) and National Cheng Kung University (assistant professor). She holds a PhD in Accounting and Finance from the University of Strathclyde, alongside advanced degrees in Finance (National Taiwan University) and Economics/Quantitative Finance (National Tsing Hua University).
Her research focuses on financial reporting (IFRS, earnings management), non-financial reporting (CSR, carbon disclosures), auditing, corporate governance, and SME/private firm behavior. She has published in top journals like Journal of Accounting and Public Policy, Accounting Horizons, and International Journal of Accounting. She actively reviews for journals such as British Accounting Review and Journal of International Accounting Research.
