About
Yu-Hui Chang is the Victor and Gwendolyn Beinfield Professor of Music and Chair of the Music Department at Brandeis University’s School of Arts and Sciences. Her work spans composition, performance, and music theory, with a global presence through performances in over 20 countries. She holds a Ph.D. from Brandeis University, an M.M. from Boston University, and a B.F.A. from National Taiwan Normal University.
Her research interests include orchestral and chamber music, choral and instrumental performance, and music theory/analysis. Notable compositions have been commissioned by organizations such as Fromm, Koussevitzky, and the Taipei Symphony Orchestra.
