Yu Hanry

Yu Hanry is a Professor at the National University of Singapore (NUS), affiliated with the Yong Loo Lin School of Medicine and the Mechanobiology Institute (MBI). He also serves as a Principal Investigator at MBI and Co-Lead Principal Investigator at the Critical Analytics for Manufacturing Personalized-Medicine (CAMP) program under the Singapore-MIT Alliance for Research and Technology (SMART).

Research Interests: Yu leads the Translational Mechanobiology Laboratory, focusing on integrating biological and engineering principles to develop technologies for diagnostics, therapeutics, and drug testing in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries. His work spans liver disease modeling, biomaterials synthesis, and biomedical device engineering, emphasizing interdisciplinary collaboration and translational applications.

Publications & Research Trends: Recent studies highlight his expertise in liver-on-a-chip platforms for drug testing, liquid metal neuro-interfaces, and mechanical anisotropy in cultivated meat.
