Yu Deng is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Chicago, part of the Physical Sciences Division. He holds a PhD from Princeton University (2015), supervised by Professor Alexandru D. Ionescu. His research interests span mathematical analysis, partial differential equations, and applied mathematics, with interdisciplinary work in medical diagnostics.
