Yu Deng

Yu Deng is an Associate Professor in the Department of Mathematics at the University of Chicago, part of the Physical Sciences Division. He holds a PhD from Princeton University (2015), supervised by Professor Alexandru D. Ionescu. His research interests span mathematical analysis, partial differential equations, and applied mathematics, with interdisciplinary work in medical diagnostics. He has contributed to studies involving chemiluminescent immunoassay techniques for viral diagnosis.

Education: PhD in Mathematics from Princeton University (2015). Earlier academic and personal history includes studies and residencies in Shenzhen, Beijing, Boston, New York, Los Angeles, and Chicago.
