Yu Cai is a Professor of Applied Computing and Associate Dean in the College of Computing at Michigan Technological University. He holds affiliations with the Department of Computational Science and Engineering. His roles include Associate Director of the Institute of Computing and Cybersystems (ICC) and Director of the Computing Education Center at ICC. He advises the RedTeam and Chinese Students and Scholars Association (CSSA) student organizations.
Dr. Cai's research focuses on cybersecurity, computer networks, machine learning, and computing education.
