Youngji Seo (she/her/hers) is a tenure-track assistant professor in the public relations program at the S.I. Newhouse School of Public Communications, Syracuse University. She joined in Fall 2023 and teaches courses on social media and society, public relations research, and campaigns. Prior to this, she held roles as an assistant professor of instruction at Temple University’s Klein College of Media and Communication, and served as an instructor and teaching/research assistant at the University of Georgia’s Grady College of Journalism and Mass Communication. She also has three years of industry experience as a public relations officer at a non-profit organization under South Korea’s Ministry of Gender Equality and Family.
