Younas Khan is a Lecturer and Lab Coordinator in the Department of Physics at the University of Alabama at Birmingham. With a research focus on planetary science, he investigates cometary volatile composition using near-IR spectroscopy from major observatories including NASA's Infrared Telescope Facility and Keck Observatory. Khan earned his M.Phil. from the University of Peshawar and both his M.S. and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Missouri Saint Louis.
